What to use to pull ATIS info from MSFS when using custom weather?

There are various programs out there to inject custom weather into MSFS. The problem I have is how to pull weather and altimeter info from the sim while flying. Seems that the MSFS ATC ATIS doesn't even work.
For the guys using custom weather, what are you using to inject it, and how are you pulling the actual current numbers from the sim? PE needs to setup on the East Coast, where our live weather is always garbage!
