First pilotedge flight. Radio test works. Hear nothing from ATC

I apologize for bugging you all with something dumb that I am probably doing.

I have tested the radio in pilotedge and passed the test. I have push to talk enabled and that shows up in the radio debug.

I am set to 122.90 at sunnyside municipal and am using com1.

I don't hear any response from ATC.

Next steps please? I have searched for "first time" videos but the main one is very verbose.
