I was reviewing the route for pistons from SMO to SAN and I can't find the V63 airway. Should we use V23 perhaps?

Fixed, V64 to V363.

Also, there's a chance LAX will be in east operations because of the winds. The routes will updated shortly to reflect that scenario. It will also affect the SMO routes.

Pilots should be prepared to fly either route.

East ops routes have been posted on the event page. LAX winds just dropped below the east ops threshold, so right now, it will be normal ops if things hold as is.

I've been checking the TAF for the past few hours. It appears it'll hold in west for the rest of next 24hrs or so.

That was fun! It'd been a while since I've logged in, but I'm glad I was able to login tonight for the event. I'm not too familiar with the LA class bravo, but the controllers got me safely on the ground once again. Caper was definitely the appropriate word for tonight.

I hope to see more events. I heard lots of other pilots and even saw 3 or 4 out my windows :)
