One thing to keep in mind is that pressure altitude is reported in 100 foot increments.
When you are at 2950' your transponder ( actually your encoder ) is reporting 2900'
If you move up to 2951' then your reported pressure altitude will be 3000'
Trying to fly within 50' of a shelf altitude limit ...

KSMX Taxi Diagram - What Do Controllers USE?
I fly with X-Plane 10 and had an issue with taxiing at KSMX (Santa Maria)
Landed at KSMX on runway 30 and controller said to taxi to parking via taxiway "C"
