Hi Lisette,
Have you considered using Ortho4XP.
There are some sample videos on youtube like this. I haven't started on it yet but find the videos quite amazing.

And if you happen to visit our part of the world, you could fly the 737-800 sim for $160 an hour

Re: Never again on PE - share your mistakes
Can't believe I just landed without a landing clearance. NORCAL approach cleared me for ILS28L approach into SFO with instruction to change over to tower at DUYET. I came in a little high and failed to catch the glideslope and found myself struggling to get down to altitudes as per the LOC chart ...

Re: Linux & glibc versions
Hey Keith,
I upgraded to Ubuntu 14.10 today (glibc-2.19-1) and the problem is now solved. No more crashes on disconnection. I guess I should have done the upgrade a long time ago.
Thanks

Re: Linux & glibc versions
Interesting, I've not had it crash with avionics on yet.. Although PE does generate a crash when I exit game, just not when I disconnect now.. Which I'll call a win haha

Re: Linux & glibc versions
Hello Everyone,
I am getting the crash on disconnect only when my avionics switch is ON. Disconnect after a complete shutdown works fine. But the good news is that I am now able to use callsign with more than five letters without crashing
Thanks for your efforts Kieth.

Are you watching the spoilers in a replay? They won't deploy in a replay after a complete shut down.

Re: Gizmo is Looking for Linux Users for Testing
Its an X-Plane plugin that provides a programming interface to aircraft developers. Several payware aircrafts such as the LES DC-3, SAAB340A, CRJ-200, etc. are based on this plugin. But, being supported only on the Windows and Mac platforms, all these aircrafts do not run on linux.

Re: Linux64 bit support
Indeed the five character callsign works like a charm.
Thanks for the workaround eddiedee.
