Any recommendations for an aircraft that is realistic but has a G1000 that is close to RW? I have some time planned in an SR22 in the spring so just wanted to get familiar with the G1000 ahead of time.

I don't know of any G-1000 implementations implemented natively in X-Plane that are very strong. I would opt for SimAVIO from http://flythissim.com. I believe they're going to stop selling it for retail users, though, so you might want to snap it up before that happens. When you buy SimAVIO ($39 ...
