The chart says to remain within 10nm from RIGLI, so you might have been a bit too far out. As far as I understand it, you can start the PT anytime after passing RIGLI, you do not have to be at a certain distance past RIGLI.

I've heard many pilots report to ATC in their initial call their correct suffix code along with placing it in the remarks section of the flight plan. The ATC are able to change it for you.

I'm trying to fly a B738 that should be filed as /L. In the Pilotedge FSX client, when I select "/L - RVSM, GNSS" in the Aircraft Capabilities box, it actually comes up in Aircraft Type as B738/Q! Apparently this is what the controllers are seeing as I've had to explain this several times.
