Problem solved.
In the PE setup the transmit key was set to the "Insert" keyboard key. If you are using keyboard controls for flight, insert is used for left aileron. The first transmission after takeoff using a joystick triggered the left aileron function. Once triggered it stays on full left bank ...

Re: FSX Mindstar control issue
Further testing on my part shows that it is apparently related to time after startup, not a particular flight event. Perhaps running out of some resource, like video memory. Still doesn't explain why this particular aircraft. I apologize for all the short test flights that sometimes terminate ...

Re: FSX Mindstar control issue
I have not contacted Mindstar but I shall.
I didn't make it clear on my previous post that the Mindstar model works fine with FSX, it is only when I connect to P.E. that the problem surfaces.

FSX Mindstar control issue
I am using the Mindstar C-172 G-1000 aircraft. FSX and Windows 7. It works fine until I make the first turn after takeoff and then it goes into a hard left bank. I tried starting FSX and PE in Administrator Mode as suggested in another post but get same problem. Anyone else experienced this?

Re: KWHP Rwy 30 ODP; how to fly
I think there is a misunderstanding here. Take off rwy 30, climbing left turn to 260, intercept the VNY 325 radial outbound, climb to 4,500, then proceed to the VNY VOR.

Re: Error Starting Pilotedge
That worked. I just connected and did a radio check. Thank you very much. I got my P.P. recently and starting to work on instrument rating so P.E. is really needed.

It won't be long before we will be able to order a virtual buffalo burger at AVX. We are getting closer to the holodeck every day.

Re: Error Starting Pilotedge
If I do not run the setup as Administrator PilotEdge will install but will not run.
PilotEdge for FS 2004 does run but not for FSX.

Re: Error Starting Pilotedge
I ran the Depends Tool. That is a very useful program.
Three dependent DLLs NOT found: Simconnect.dll, Ieshims.dll, and Wer.dll.
I found Simconnect.dll on another computer and copied it to the System32 folder.
Next try I got MSVcr80.dll instead of Simconnect not found.

I have .net 2.0 SP2, 3.2 SP2, 3.5 SP1, and 4. There are no further updates for Windows XP.Donovan wrote:The other thing that I've seen give the error is not having the required .NET Framework installation, and you might take a look at that, and install any versions you are missing.
