I joined a virtual group a while ago called the Virtual Pilots Association. So far it has been pretty fun, but they only reward online flights done on VATSIM and IVAO, and a lot of the pilots are not in the US. Some of the things I like about them:

The rules of an IFR visual approach are
- maneuver however you like while taking the most direct route to your runway
- maintain VFR conditions
- keep the airport in sight at all times

Great answer - thanks for the response. Yes, I suppose the resources from which I learned my approach from were all related to uncontrolled airports.
