I'm guessing that on departure, you were assigned the 330 heading, radar identified by the tower, then told some point shortly thereafter to proceed on course, altitude your discretion and to remain west of the extended 19 centerlines at John Wayne for arrival traffic or something like that ...

V2 rating

Recently I flew the V2 test, With X-Plane using a Mac. After studying for the test. I signed on and asked to take V2 test. cleared to taxied to runway 19R and was cleared for take off. Things were good until the controller mention the turn right to a heading of 330 and resume own navigation.

I am glad to see it was not just me. Flying the V2 test from KSNA to KONT and I had an engine failure. 2 hours of fuel in the tanks and 20 min to KONT.
When I landed in the desert, XPlane in the aircraft equipment failure section said number 1 2 3 fuel vents were inoperable.
