One more comment on that - When transmitting you communicate to the overlying airspace which for New Cuyama is Santa Barbara Approach

IFR Clearance at New Cuyama

I was trying to fly out of New Cuyama, and I couldn't figure out how to pick up my IFR clearance on the ground. In the real world, I would call 1-800-wx-brief. What do you do in the sim?
