I will double check the AI, would that cause it to stop at the same place every time?

Im a new pilot to pilot edge working on my CAT Rating 1. I have attempted this flight 4 times only to have Xplane And Pilot edge crash, when I am over the mountains about to descend into New Cuyama. I monitor my pc and all temps are fine so i know its not overheating. I don't understand why ...
