Mark,
Yes, I'm using FSX and that's exactly what was causing this. I checked 'Disable turbulence and thermal effects on aircraft' and the problem was solved.
Thanks!

ILS Question
Has anybody else noticed that different ILS approaches perform differently? For example the glide slope on the ILS19R at KSNA fluctuates a lot about half way down and my autopilot will never lock on. The ILS25L at KLAX works perfectly every time. The glide slope is smooth and my autopilot handles ...

Re: PE Software Hangs Up
Never mind. If I had looked a few posts down I would have seen the solution to my problem. My headset was not plugged in.
All OK now.

Re: PE Software Hangs Up
I de-installed PE, downloaded the program and reinstalled. Started fsx and kicked off PE. Received error "ERROR HAS OCCURRED CLICK OK TO ABORT SQUAWK BOX (11)"
then
"PILOT EDGE _FSX.EXE HAS STOPPED WORKING".
Ideas?

PE Software Hangs Up
Guys,
I went to connect this afternoon and the PE software would hang up and I would have to stop the process. I tried this three times with the same results. No error messages. The program would just stop responding. This has always worked great. Never had a problem before.

Re: Changing Radio Frequencies
I found a good solution by using commands that are not in the documentation.
COM/NAV 1
C1 = select com1 freq before the decimal
CC1 = select com1 after the decimal
N1 = select Nav1 before the decimal
NN1 = select Nav 1 after the decimal
COM/NAV 2
Same as COM/NAV except swap "1" s for "2"s.

Changing Radio Frequencies
Guys,
Is there an easier way to change COM and NAV frequencies in FSX? I'm having a hard time making changes fast enough. I'd like to be able to program codes in my x52Pro but can't find anything in the FSX documentation.
Thanks!

I Need a New Plane
Guys,
I just joined PE last week and love it. I have finished the first two VFR tests and wasn't prepared for how nervous I was. The controllers were a big help.
I have a Commercial/Instrument but haven't flown in about 30 years. I decided to get current again and saw something about PE on the web ...
