Training workshop question
I have just completed my rotorcraft private requirements and am now working on my instrument at the same time as my commercial to save money on the flight time. As I watch the IFR workshops I see a lot of things talked about that I don't think I will be able to do in the Helicopter. Is there ...

Re: Never again on PE - share your mistakes
Well it has been a long time since I have been on PilotEdge and made many mistakes. I called for a landing on 21 but landed on 3. I didn't have things set correctly on the sim and could not hear the radio calls clear enough to understand what I was being said over the cockpit noise (fixed it now). I ...

Bingo Fuel
I had a great time practicing tonight and flew from KSBA to KSBP then back to KSBA. On my way back I looked at the fuel guage and saw there was very low fuel left in the helicopter so I diverted to KSMX made my emergency call and landed ASAP. After landing on the runway I cleared the runway and ...

Re: Custom plane view
I am using x plane 10.10 b4. It might be a bug that has the aircraft at the wrong altitude and the ground at another. It happens with all the AI at AVX.

Custom plane view
What does it look like when someone has a aircraft that is custom to the other pilots on the server that don't own the same? And what does the ATC see in the same situation? I fly the bk117 helicopter but if you don't own it and you see a plane instead, it might look strange how it is maneuvering ...

OshKosh flight Tuesday
My flight today was from catalina to JohnWayne for a touch and go, to Chino for a touch and go, to Fullerton for a Full stop Landing at the South Heliport, then finished up at Long Beach for a Full Stop Landing at The LGB South Heliport. I don't think I did too bad and there was plenty of traffic at ...

Re: Free scenery, get it while it's hot
I hope this is still in the works. The airports are hard to navigate without som buildings to reference to. I think I am landing where buildings are supposed to be in my helicopter

Helicopter rules?
In PE should I follow the right traffic for helicopter patterns and a lower altitude then fixed wing traffic? In my ppl classes we fly right and at 800 to 900 AGL to avoid fixed wing traffic. We also use the taxi way to take off and land to avoid the fixed wing traffic. Is this acceptable in PE? Is ...

Re: Never again on PE - share your mistakes
Today was my first flight on pilotedge and it was a total disaster. I can't understand why I am so nervous, just like in real life. I came in to the airport downwind, landed on the wrong side, used the wrong language, didn't repeat the instructions correctly. Good thing it is here and not in the air ...

Re: Pilot Introductions
My Name is Angelo and I am new to the pilotedge program. I am a rotorcraft pilot student at sunaero helicopters in Lansing Illinois. I am trying to get my Commercial pilots licence and found this program on x-plane 10. It looks like this is just what I need to further my education. It may take me ...
