New 64-bit version posted (v0.8.1) which should fix the xplane 10.22 issue with inop connect/disconnect and flight plan filing buttons:

I did a complete uninstall and reinstall of the Microsoft runtime (both 32 & 64 bit). Then I reinstalled just the 64 bit and it seemed to work fine after that.

Perhaps worth a try for you?

Already did, with no luck.
Only trick, by now, is to close x-plane session with a stock plane and/or put a ...

With 10.22 final that PE plugin related issue is getting even worse.
As Keith noted, plugin is not working as it should, specially if you close X-plane session and than open another one.
With some aircraft (Javier Rollon CRJ2, for example) experience is just terrible.
I closed the x-plane session ...

I own many Carenado's plane and I'm waiting for the BE58 update.
In the while I moved to a Bonanza V35 because is 64bit ready and doesn't suffer any memory leak issue (SALS and x-plane problem).
I'm very happy with her but noted some imperfections that I totally fixed, it took me a lot of work.

I like the math method too, it's really useful, specially with GA planes.
At higher altitudes we have to take care of vertical distance from plane and transmit ...
