If you have the software running do this:
Click on the icon in the task bar (looks like a little yoke)
Click "Profile Editor" in the menu
Click "Programming in the upper right of the window
Press the joystick button you want to assign - it should highlight in the software
Click on the box ...

I have MegaScenery for FSX installed with no performance problems what so ever, it's been just what the doctor ordered as far as VFR and Low IFR for me.

Manually set the clock for any time you want, based upon the kind of flight you want to make. It's perfectly OK to set your sim time to day if you can only get to your simulator at night, PE time -- or set it to night time during PE's day if that's what you want to practice. Just as PE ...

Does the PE Client Calibrate the Sim time to the PE network time or should we do this manually before each flight?
At the moment my FSX is set to 'use system time'

Hi Guys
Does the PE Client Calibrate the Sim time to the PE network time or should we do this manually before each flight?
At the moment my FSX is set to 'use system time'

I use GEX and UTX for terrain and scenery in FSX. The both together make a pretty big difference. It is not photo real scenery but that doesn't bother me. It is pretty easy to follow VFR landmarks and you get all of North America for a pretty reasonable price.
