The video is only about 30 seconds (FRAPS is the straw on this sim) but it's a dragon for sure. I'll tidy it up. Where would you like it delivered? Were you the controller? If so, well manipulatedAnthony Santanastaso wrote:Kim, I remember you saying that you had some video of the flight. Do you have a screenshot or video to post?Kim Ellis wrote:No audio recordings for 16th and 17thand the 17th was so good when American Airlines 211 Heavy heading south out KSFO, Australian 081 Heavy heading north to KSFO, and a controller, met around 30,000' at a closing speed of around 900+ kts, approx 1,000' vertical separation and a few clicks horizontal, for a chat and a cuppa, and had visual for 30 seconds or so. It doesn't get much better. But no audio
Someone doesn't like me.
(P.S. Watch out for the "dragons!")

Yes, I was. It just so happened that the two of you flew in exact opposite directions at appropriate DRVSM altitudes. Can you post a link to the short video here?Kim Ellis wrote:The video is only about 30 seconds (FRAPS is the straw on this sim) but it's a dragon for sure. I'll tidy it up. Tried twice guys. One FRAPS avi block 1.5 GB. With my Internet connection in slow mode, it ain't gonna happen in this lifetime. Looks like after the 25th when my link goes back to usable. Oh the joys of living in the bush. Sorry.Kim Ellis wrote:Will do it tonight (my time AEST) and advise.Anthony Santanastaso wrote:Yes, I was. OK, I had to render it to wmv (not as crisp as the raw avi), cut it down to nothing, and pump like hell to get it down the line. You guys just don't know how lucky you are having good internet. My voice is missing, misconfigured FRAPS I think. Enjoy the dragons meeting

Can I make it in my trusty Legacy?
Hell yes --- why should Kim have all the fun lol

The dragons ate my attached file, so here is a small file to see if that works.

Here is the link http://mengyuan.com.au/images/AA211H.wmv. It's short. Controller and other pilot prattling away. Me looking for the traffic. You can't hear me because my FRAPS was mis-configured. Just when I was about to give up I caught AA211H out of the corner of my eye. Next time we'll close more directlyKim Ellis wrote:It got eaten too, so uploading to my website and will post the link here.Kim Ellis wrote:The dragons ate my attached file, so here is a small file to see if that works.
