[SOLVED] SmartCopilot v2 Not Showing up (64bit)

Post by Kyle.Sanders »

THIS WAS ALL BECAUSE I WAS RUNNING AN OS BEFORE 10.10. Updated to Mac OS 10.11 and it shows up now

I can get SmartCopilot v1.30 to work fine but anything past that (version 2 and up) does not show up in the Plugin menu when starting X-plane.

I have noticed that starting with version 2.00, the 32bit version of the plugin is gone. That is the only difference I see so maybe it has to do with that 64bit version.

To run a test to see if I can run 64bit plugins... I downloaded the PilotView plugin, deleted the 32bit folder so i was left with just 64bit and it ran fine in X-Plane. So the issue is just with this ONE plugin.

I am using Mac OS 10.9.5
X-Plane 10.42 (non-beta) 64bit

My log file is attached
I found the following error in it but don't know what it means or how to fix it:

Code: Select all

dlerror:dlopen(/Users/Sanders/Desktop/X-Plane 10/Resources/plugins/smartcopilot2/mac.xpl, 6): Symbol not found: _fchmodat

  Expected in: flat namespace
