Peter, I thought windshield icing was modeled in X-Plane. I've had numerous occurrences of windshield "fogging" due to snow or freezing rain, usually followed by icing of control surfaces. By turning on the window heat, the wind screen clears up.

Ah, my fault - I was using my old version experience with XPlane as my background for this - I shouldn't have overstepped my boundaries in assuming the newer versions still hadn't modeled it. Kudos to Laminar Research - he has quite the product there.
