While Focus Fields are easy to select (I use them all the times) I like Dept/Arr to/from a non-towered ATP. We can chat for a few min and do some networking. The double stop flight I was suggesting actually leaves from a non-towered atp. It would be cool to take off all together...not a formation but a true "group" flight!

I like the idea of planning double stops for each fly-in. And having at least one untowered stop just makes sense; it's rare we get to use CTAF otherwise.

I just put together scenery for KIZA Santa Ynez (based on JuanB's airport layout) for X-Plane 9 & 10. Juan also built his own scenery for KLPC Lompoc which is in the same area. I know we're not all on XP, but could we work them into the next fly-in? I propose KTOA, then north through the Bravo via the LAX SFRA to KIZA, stop and chat on the ramp, then make another short hop to KLPC.

I like that. If it is ok with you guys...since I already advertised the Feb 19th flight for several days I would like to keep it that way. However, we can plan on flying Jeff's suggestion on Feb 28th. What do you think?

I would leave the 19th as it is but the 28th sounds great for the change.

A few updates:

1) Feb 28th we fly Jeff's suggestion (Thanks Jeff ) . It's all published!

2) I have added Mar 26th to our flight calendar

3) It would be cool if on Feb 19th we tune in on 123.45 before Dept. and take off all together from KLAX.

4) AJ would you please edit your posts from the Feb 19th and Feb 28th flight pages and just leave a comment or something. People are getting confused by the list of flights...THANKS!
