Just watched your video. For V3 your radio work was pretty darn good. My only question is why are you flying VFR at night?
I think the X-Plane scenery looks terrible during the day.. It makes me feel like I'm flying in a cartoon.
At night it actually looks semi-realistic. =)
Sure wish there was some good photo-realitic scenery of SoCal for X-Plane. =(
Everyone flying on PE with X-Plane should be using this photo scenery package:

It isn't perfect but it improves the experience dramatically.

Can you please take a screenshot from 3000ft?

I tried this scenery and it is very low res at low altitude...on my machine anyway. 6000 x 1200 - 3 monitors

If that's the case, then it suffers from the same problem that all photo scenery does, which is that it's borderline offensive once you get down low. I like it for enroute at the flight levels, but below that, I think stock XP10 wins.

Agreed!

It's not exactly high res, but knowing what SoCal actually looks like, I much prefer even marginal quality photo scenery over the blotchy green mass of stock XP10. Different strokes, I guess.

Jeff, it is fairly barren up high, I agree, but at lower altitudes with everything cranked up (which is how I have it), there's plenty to see. There are pros and cons of both methods, I agree.
