I've been trying to find that font everywhere. ugh. For me if the registration doesn't look right it ruins the entire effect.
The problem is that it's probably some stencil made by hand from the 60's. lol Hopefully I can find something close to it.
I'll get it, will work on it more this week.
I love the fact that I'm putting in so much time trying to reproduce what has to be one of the ugliest aircraft paint jobs ever. But hey, it has sentimental value, so it has to be done.

Great job so far. And I don't think it's an ugly paintjob at all - I actually like the liveries of the 70s and 80s. They look like they fit the designs of the planes better than the swoopy newer schemes.
For the N# font, try Octin College Free or Jersey M54. Both can be found at
www.dafont.com.

Are you still taking request?
I would love to have one N513AC with the following paint scheme:
start with light grey over everything.
then a red line on the fuse, both side, from cowl to tail
then a red line on each wing tip, vertical stab at top and horiz. stab.
done..

I'm sorry Brian. I was really offering the livery and modifying the tail number. I don't have the time or energy to take paint livery requests, but maybe somebody here is up to the challenge?

If you are still taking requests, can I get a custom tail number of N3989. I have officially reserved this and would be nice to have it on my virtual craft as well.
