Indeed. For the stretch of V186 between TIFNI and VNY it is defined as the VNY 095 radial, and from PDZ to TIFNI the PDZ 278 radial. I used DARTS in the explanation simply because that was the example you used in your previous question:

Seriously though, thanks a bunch for your help. Having this understanding will be invaluable to what will be in my next group fly-out that I am plotting [rubs hands together with an evil grin ].

As much as I'd love to chat about victor airways, pitot tubes, landing gear rivets and $100 hamburgers (which I could do all day long!) I suppose that I really should get back to work

Yes the swastika looking thing is where you'd change to the next VOR. Probably a reception thing, or unusable radials .
