Thanks I will ! Got the majestic dash 8 , having fun with that , although I don't know if many fly in the socal area ? I have been using fore flight as a backup rathe than flying off it, enjoying vor to vor it's much more satisfying than flying GPS . I will look at the king air , milviz seem like a really good developer loving the 310 !

Realair announced they'll be coming to P3D - can't wait to fly the Duke and legacy (and turbine v2) ...

I guess one can already fly them if they have the EMT .

WAIT WHAT?!?

I was considering the gauges for use in pilot edge.... What do you mean by "run in admin mode?" Do you mean specifically check mark "run this program as administrator?"

This is what I really effing dislike about Flight1.... if you don't buy the product you can't access the support forums... maybe there's something important like this I'd need to know before I buy.

As far as I am aware, for use with prepared v2.3 you MUST run the sim in admin, otherwise it just crashes. So these gauges are currently not worth having for us on pilot edge. Hopefully this will be addressed in a patch, but I wouldn't spend the money on them until it is.

Todd how have you got the mindstar units to work with pe ? mindstar reckon you need to run in admin mode but if you do that the comms on pe don't work ?

I have the Mindstar GNS 530 working with the Carenado Cessna 337 ("Skymaster") on P3D v2.3 -- it works just fine with P3D running in normal (i.e., non-administrator) mode.

Acroshaw - I bought the GTN750 today for P3D.

I used it just like normal on PE (at least for a mic check)

I haven't done anything different in my installation. But I do run with UAC disabled... which if yours was enabled that might have been causing the issues. If you don't want to disable UAC you can browse to your p3d folder, find prepar3d.exe and right click it. Select the Compatibility tab, and check "Run this program as an administrator"
