3. Let's discuss the next airfields choice. My suggestion is to pick uncontrolled airfield which does have the FSE FBO of one of the PE members. FBO owners, please advise. And there should be a controlled airfield (C/D) at about 15-20 miles away.

KCRQ is a short hop.
Watch out for Pendleton restricted airspace.

A20 and 1L4 are near to KIFP and I own those FSE FBOS (not IFP). 1L4 is dirt for an added challenge.

I enjoyed it, even though I am a very rusty and well behind the power curve. A full pattern really makes a difference. Thanks to the guy who told others to "be aware" when I had the engine failure and had to land opposite direction; that's what I would *really* appreciate in real life when I am too stressed to talk much on CTAF. I also appreciated that the number one holding short re-confirmed that he was staying put. That would make a lot of difference in real life too.
Great fun! Will try to be there next time.

Great time... I was online an hour late yesterday but was at KBNG doing patterns when you all returned from KPSP to give you some traffic to work around

Sorry for not killing the drones, I was tied up all weekend with helping my daughter with a science project, "The Earth's Awesome Cores!"
2 days later, I no longer feel they are slightly awesome. I feel they are tiresome, time consuming and surprisingly hard to paint neatly on a Styrofoam ball.

Not a problem at all! Actually I'm glad they were ON during the event. One of my go-arounds was not made properly (without being practiced often enough), so I almost crashed the plane over the runway. That was scary and a good lesson to learn.
