I hadn't heard that Ryan. Of course, I also thought the Bonanza was being done until the Comanche was revealed. Maybe their lineup has changed?

I was one who thought a Bonanza was coming... their wing in a preview video for the cherokee was a bonanza wing. But I don't think a Bonanza is confirmed. The T-6 is though. Haven't heard of the PA44 being confirmed either.

I have had a conversation with one of the guys at A2A. Don't look for a Bonanza in their future!!! The Comanche takes the niche for single engine retractable and they won't be doing another.

Well that's highly disappointing . I wonder if that wing I saw was really the Comanche.

I agree with DavidC, in that it would have been nice to have had a newer Piper single, with (as he said) a better autopilot, etc. - but A2A may argue that they did all that in the 172 - albeit with a high wing! The Comanche is superb, and I've enjoyed flying around in it, even though my true love is X-Plane.

I have 241.5 hours in the Comanche in both FSX and now P3D. I clocked several hours of bootleg right seat time and was a passenger for a few hundred hours in a 1964 Comanche as well. I can't overstate how great this aircraft is or how realistic the numbers are in P3D. It's close to the Mooney in terms of performance for around 50-70k for a refurb today. It will cruise at around 180 kts at 10-12k feet and do it at 14 gph fuel burn. Leaning back to 12 gph still gets you around 165 kts which is the top of the green arc. With a 90gal capacity with tip tanks it is perfect for single engine complex piston on P3D. It climbs at 2000+ FPM almost all the way up and descends even faster. It's one of the most overpowered single engine pistons of all time. Just my two cents.

Thread is more than a year old.
I ended up purchasing the PA24 on a little bit of a sale probably some months after it was released. It's a nice plane, I like it far more than those boring Cessnas. I hope they do their Aerostar!
