Thx. Don't worry, when I get it working, I'll post it for people to try. I found a very tricky run-time bug in a low-level third party library that was built prior to 64-bit Windows and has some issues. I've spent the last 8 hours tracking and fixing it. Ben Supnik helped me put a bullet in the bug's head, though, and it's just about fixed (the library, that is). I will be back to testing. Right now, I have to stop and prepare for the workshop!

Making progress. It's no picnic, but it's getting there.

Am connected now with windows 64-bit Xplane, seeing another aircraft, and comms check works.

Going to go fly with drones for a bit, but it's very promising so far.

Alright, all appears well with the 64-bit plugin for Windows. Will get it released today.

Sorry I haven't posted the windows version yet, got tied up in the Mac build.

Unfortunately, the current version of the voice library that we use is 32-bit only (for the Mac). The latest version of the library (which will hopefully resolve the audio issues for Mountain Lion) has 64-bit capability, though.

What this means is that if we're going to support Mac 64-bit, it's going to mean that we have to move to the new version of the audio library, which is NOT backward compatible with the current library.

This means that when we're ready to release 64-bit Mac support, EVERYONE is going to have to use a newer version of the audio library. By EVERYONE, I mean:
- controllers
- FS9 pilots
- FSX pilots
- X-Plane 8, 9 and 10 pilots (Mac, Windows & the Linux beta testers).

This will obviously require some pretty serious coordination and planning.

I'll begin notifying commercial customers of the pending change in the coming days and will send out a newsletter to the user base once a date has been set. We will do some limited testing on an alternate voice server (sans ATC) prior to that point.
