Brett,

The 'start debug' shouldn't be there, sorry. It doesn't do what you were hoping.
Again, I could hear the controller, controller could not hear me. I was in a Citation Mustang, and wasn't running any external instrumentation this time.

I stopped, restarted VSPro, did not resolve, still he could hear me, I couldn't hear him.
I assume that second sentence is reversed?

Next time this happens, squawk 7600, follow standard lost comms (land VFR at nearest practical airport, or if IMC, continue to destination), then get to the ramp, stay connected (change nothing), drop me a line and let me see if I can debug it (I can check to see where you are on the voice server and a few other things).

oops. Yes, that was reversed.

Sounds good, next time it happens I'll let you know.

If your around, I'm online landed at KLAS with the issue. I'll stay here online for a bit and wait.

Confirmed its not the aircraft as I loaded a new aircraft and am still in the same state. I can hear ATC, they cant hear me.

Happened to me as well this afternoon. All went well, before landing at SNA i lost comms. Running X-plane 10.11. It's not the first time i'm experiencing this. i do use Airtrack plugin, and have ForeFlight connected to X-plane. did Squawk 7600 and landed the Carenado Mooney 20J.

I remember the frequency that was showing on the map : 199.998, would that indicate what's going wrong?

Joris, that could be a COM1/2 radio failure (in X-Plane), an alternator failure, the alternator not being switched on in the first place, or the avionics master being turned off. If you saw the frequency swap to that number, it doesn't mean that something stopped working at the PE level, it means that one of those conditions occurred in the airplane itself. The software consciously sent you over to that frequency.

Hi Keith,
Could be, I'll watch out for that. Before the loss of comms I remember pushing the com 2 button to listen to KSNA weather.
Is this something we can do? Or should we stay away from the com 2 in XP?
