Re: Frame Rate Drop When Connected to PE
Ok, found out what is likely causing this, should be able to fix. This problem likely only affects people with certain routers (I don't have the issue, otherwise I would've noticed it very quickly because I have my iPad off 90% of the time).

Re: Frame Rate Drop When Connected to PE
I haven't had the issue since the first time I first posted in September. All of a sudden tonight the issue came back. I deleted the VSProTrafficRelay.ini and everything was back to normal except my traffic.

John,
You shouldn't have to remove the .ini file, just set the IP address in the VSProTrafficRelay.ini file to match your iPad IP address. Then you'll still have your traffic.

Re: Frame Rate Drop When Connected to PE
I had it set correctly and that is when I had the problem.

John,
Strange. So just to be clear, the .ini address matched the iPad, the iPad was on, the iPad's wifi was on, and the wifi connection was good, but you still had a frame-rate drop until you dumped the .ini file?

Yes, yes, yes, yes and yes.
I was able to use ForeFlight so I know the connection was good.

Re: Frame Rate Drop When Connected to PE
John,
The only time we've seen this happen for some people is when the IP address in the file is unreachable from your machine. The fact that your IPad has a good net connection doesn't mean that the IP address in the relay file is correct. Is it possible that your iPad IP address changed since you first checked the ini file?
