Ok, happened again today. It's really always when i'm supposed to get a call from approach to swap to tower. On final i was thinking, heck i haven't been cleared to land so went around, 7600 in the box and landed again. Tried to dis- and reconnect but no joy. I might try with the stock cessna rather than the Carenado Mooney which isn't really XP10 'certified'

I've seen two Carenado aircraft in the past which did NOT have an ALTERNATOR switch on the panel, or otherwise suffered from MASSIVE power draws (200amps) that overwhelm the alternator. The end result is the battery dies after a while and we kill the radio.

Next time this happens, remain logged in and email support@pilotedge.net. We'll check it out in real time and tell you what's going on. Alternatively, you can use X-Plane data input&output screen to show the battery voltage. If it's not 14 or 28v, then you have your answer.
