I'll download the demo and upgrade to the beta and see if I can replicate.

Checked
log.txt
VSPro.err
VSPro.out

No insight. Uninstalled all PilotEdge software and repeated process, No luck.

Rolled back to pre-beta 10.21, everything worked fine. Think I'll keep it there for awhile.

Backed up my 10.21 installation, upgraded it to 10.22b2. Ran the 64-bit version, connected to PilotEdge, heard voices, saw traffic. No issues.

This tells me there is something local that isn't happy on your box. If you'd like to do a remote screen share this week, Lee, I'd be happy to debug.

Standby, just fired it up again to test something else and wasn't able to connect this time. Not only did the Connect button not work, but neither did the Cancel. Could only close the window via the 'X' on the pseudo window manager. Checking it out.

Looked through log after that run, didn't see anything odd. Quit, fired up X-Plane 10.22b2 again, connected, no problem. So, it appears to be intermittent.

We'll chalk it up to gremlins for now. Thanks for checking though.

With 10.22 final that PE plugin related issue is getting even worse.
As Keith noted, plugin is not working as it should, specially if you close X-plane session and than open another one.
With some aircraft (Javier Rollon CRJ2, for example) experience is just terrible.
I closed the x-plane session and when I opened it again it was impossible to log in the PilotEdge server.

Solutions ?
Nothing stable at the moment but I discovered that changing the whole plugin directory with a fresh one (I have one plugin directory just for PE) helps.
Regarding CRJ2 my advice is to swap to a stock plane (BE58 or C172) before close the session, otherwise only solution will be erase plugins folder and put a fresh one.
Investigate more it's just too complicated to me, so please go on posting here if you find a stable solution.

I did a complete uninstall and reinstall of the Microsoft runtime (both 32 & 64 bit). Then I reinstalled just the 64 bit and it seemed to work fine after that.

Perhaps worth a try for you?

Updated to 10.22 RC2 - no joy connecting!
Shut down and fired up X-Plane twice
Repaired runtimes-no joy
Reinstalled all x64 files - nada.

Same at my end Keith.
