Heh, I'm also a KSP nut. I may not play it the moment 1.0 drops, as I might want to await bug fixes and mod updates. But I do find it charming. My first successful orbital docking maneuver was a thrill.

And Steve is right: your contributions to this community are unparalleled. Thanks for all you do!

Well KSP got me before I could finish up VCV (it's a big but fun airport, the aircraft boneyard is a nice visual when flying over it), so that'll get done when it get done. :)

On a sidenote, anyone else here who plays KSP may be interested in my Plane Mode mod for it, which allows you to swap roll/yaw axis in flight and configure it on a per vessel basis.

I've only had time to do one flight in KSP 1.0, but I was very impressed; it's come a long way since I last played a few months ago. Love the new aerodynamics. I might try your mod! Would it work with a yoke?

Back on topic: two of my Gateway submissions have been approved!

1. KGCN - Grand Canyon National. Someone else already had submitted scenery for this airport, but they forgot to add tree-exclusions for the runways, and I was seeing tree-covered runways with trees at "tree hugger." My version is now the recommended version. (I post my Gateway submissions as "Hugh" for no good reason. Wish I'd used my real name, Geoff.) Download link: http://gateway.x-plane.com/scenery/page/KGCN

2. 38CA - Cashen. This scenery I created from scratch. I'm sure it could use some improvement, but I think it's a decent first effort. I've corrected the alignment of the runway, eliminated some non-existent taxiways, added buildings to reflect what I see in orthophotos, added a couple aircraft on the ground, etc. http://gateway.x-plane.com/scenery/page/38CA

My submission for Ernst Field (86CL) is still pending.

Good job, look forward to seeing those in a future X-Plane (I'm assuming whatever version is after 10.40).

And now my 86CL (Ernst Field) has been approved, so that too should be in the next official release of X-Plane.

Like you, zengei, I'm taking a little airport-building break while I feed my obsession with KSP. I'll be back at it soon enough.

I could not find decent KONT scenery for XP. The only scenery available is a conversion from MSFS and has poor textures.
So decided to make Lego brick version myself and add to scenery gateway. It has been accepted. Please let me know if there is any feedback.

Nice, I'll have to check it out later.

After a long hiatus I've finally finished up KVCV, should be available for download from the gateway after moderator approval. Some images in this album.
