FS9 Freezing when trying to shut down PE

Last night, flying on fs9. I was leaving the coverage area and decided to disconnect from pe. I disconnected ad then shut it down. When I shut it down and maximized fs9 again, it was just a black screen and after trying to minimize it again, it wouldn't budge. Anyone have this problem?

Haven't used FS9, but I've had a similar problem in FSX when connecting. What I do now is ALT-ENTER to exit full screen mode, rather than ALT-TAB. Connect or disconnect from PE, then ALT-ENTER to make the sim full screen again.
