Weather and PE

OK, simulated weather has me massively confused.
In addition to stock FSX w/ Acceleration Pack, I'm running WideView to drive additional displays. WideView has options to synchronize weather from the server (where you're actually flying FSX) to the WideView clients (which are also running FSX, but are really just viewports that are slaved to the WideView server). In addition to all this, the PE client itself has an option to synchronize the weather from PE to FSX.
Is anybody else running WideView and PE together? And if so, do you have a clue how to set things up so that the weather on everything is synchronized with PE? I'm getting sorta embarrassed listening to the PE controllers give me altimeter settings and telling me that the weather at my destination is 2000' OVC with light rain while I'm looking at 29.92 on the Kollsman and CAVU on my displays. I'd like to participate in the "real" weather most of the time but just cannot figure out how to set things up.
Any suggestions?
