Some NorCal Scenery

In anticipation of the opening of ZOA, I've been looking for some fun air strips to fly into from Air Northwest's headquarters at SCK. Someone mentioned 0Q5 - Shelter Cove so I took a look at it. While I was there, I noticed O16 - Garberville tucked away in a valley and I thought it would fun, and challenging, to fly into O16, too. So here are links to a couple of new sceneries for you to enjoy while flying NorCal!

I know this is a public forum. You're welcome to use the scenery any way you want, but I ask you not to post this scenery anywhere else. I plan on sharing it more extensively later. Thanks!

Very good, thanks Steve. Note: this is for X-Plane only, might be worth mentioning that :)

Hi Steve,

I just wanted to say thanks for the scenery. Nice quaint little airports!
I see you have you beloved V35 at both locations. Nice touch.
Thanks again.

Vince

You're welcome! I place the V35 at most of my airports...mainly because it is error free, but also because she is such a sweet bird.

If you really want to test your nav skills then check www.xplanes-scenery.com for some of the smaller airports i built in the region. There are a few MonW fields, some secluded like General Dick Stout airport (really!)

The really small fields are almost impossible to spot without custom scenery. Also, check the bottom of the page because i indexed almost all of the maps available for the pe service area thru x-plane.org.
