The "Getting Started" page now contains a more detailed "first flight"

http://www.pilotedge.net/pages/getting-started

If anyone is willing to video this flight and add it to YouTube, please do so and send me the URL. I'll embed it on the page if the video and audio quality are sufficient. So as to avoid an overlap of efforts, if you do plan on taking this on, drop a note here.

Keith,

I'll give this a try, assuming I can get my screen recording software up and going again. It's been while since I used it so it make take a a little bit for me to get it working properly.

Mark,

Nicely put together. Did you use FRAPS?

Thanks!

I used Camtasia, a commercial screen capture tool. I have it for training/documentation videos I occasionally do for clients. It's quite a bit more flexible than FRAPS (but it's 10x more expensive as well....)
