This was not one of my best days on PE

To who ever was the ATC for my flight from KMIT to KEMT. Sorry for messing up which station i was calling and making your job a lot harder.-- calling it LA ctr and not SOCAL, ctr/app ect (Will be making some que cards to place above the radio stack with the correct station names.)

And just befor landing being ask to report position took me by suprise, after i realised all i needed to do was look at the whisky compass or even the heading indicator to see what direction i was from the airfield. DUH

But it was a good learning experance for me , sounded busy, lots of trafic in the air and radio communications going on.

Now am going to hide under a rock.

I do that all the time. I have sadly made them used to it.

toosox, I was your controller for that flight, it was no big deal. Please know that when we point things out, it's purely for your benefit and education, it's rarely a serious problem for us
