Here are my choices and a proposed flight.

1) Inverted flight: Perris Valley/Van Nuy, I did not like that not all of uss had the same airport layout, maybe to small airport so my vote is NO

2) KLAX/KHMT That would be very interesting as far as taking of from the heart o class B so my vote is YES

3) KSAN/KNUC I have the same considerations as for 1) so my vote is NO

5) KSNA/0CA5 I have the same considerations as for 1) so my vote is NO

6) KSNA/L35 In my opinion would be nice , more relaxing flight than 1) and my vote is YES

70 Proposal KBUR-KOKB

For IFR we have TEC routes http://findflight.web44.net/tecsub.php? ... B&type=%25

For VFR with Class B transition via MINI ROUTE http://skyvector.com/?ll=33.77878030323 ... :A.K2.KOKB

Your turn, guys. :)

Cheers, AJ

All the proposed flights sound good but my favorite is 6) KSNA/L35.

AJ,

For your proposed flight....did you mean KBUR-KOKB? The TEC route might be a bit too long. I like the VFR solution filed as IFR...

I updated the thread topic to match the standard format. The idea is that all the posts will have the date and time first. That way, people can scan the list and see what's coming up very easily. Calendar is coming next :)

Alex, yes I have meant KBUR-KOKB, I edited the thread.

I added the proposal flight so we have more choices, to me it does not matter where we fly but you are the originator so you make the final choice.

Keith, excellent, thank you.

Alex,

If I might suggest something...make it EASY for people to participate in this process. Post the date/time/route. Don't make it a fly-in by committee. As someone watching from the outside, if I have to wade through 10 posts to find out what the fly-in is, it's less convenient.

The first post should contain the date/time and airports in the title, then the post itself should contain the details.

There are many people who are interested in the fly-ins, and as long as you get at least a couple, it should be considered a success.

Good idea, Keith.

Alex, maybe just pick whatever you like for the 3 subsequent fly-ins.

At the last one fly-in post we can see if anybody will volunteer to organize the next one.

We can discuss some criteria, maybe the length from 50 to 100 NM.

What do you think?

Cheers, AJ
