Air Traffic Question...

I have FSX and have the Justflight TrafficX Addon and some addon scenery packages...
When flying on the pilotedge network do I need to disable the TrafficX Addon(s)?
I noticed last night I was cleared to land and then on my turn to final I see traffic right in front of me on short final...
I also hear the FSX ATC chatter... is that normal? I assumed that this traffic was not being seen by the pilotedge controller so I just ignored it and landed anyway without going around...
