Keith, I have been watching some of the videos of your east coast flights in IFR. I must say, those flights are extremely pilot intensive. I imagine you can scare away a lot of GA pilots from attempting similar trips. Single pilot IFR, always challenging, in that environment looks like a little too much for the average GA pilot, instrument rated even. Did you ever acquire an auto pilot for your Lancair? I'll be looking forward to seeing more of your adventures.

Hi Jerry, working on a GoPro camera to get some better quality footage of the panel and will resume filming the flights in the spring *fingers crossed*.
They're not all like this. I do many 3.5hr legs where nothing remarkable happens with great weather, I just don't post those videos because there's not a ton of training value there.
The plane has always had an autopilot, I just won't bet my life on it, so I don't use it other than to check that it mostly works when I'm in cruise at 8k-12k.
