Hello,

It might sound weird but I have been able to find a place where to buy bezels to install on top of a monitor to simulate gauges and instruments. Does anyone have a link or knows where I can find those things?

Thanks!

Are you thinking about this? http://www.vrinsightshop.com/shop/step1 ... 1116043722

YouTube of it in use: http://youtu.be/espV2xH01-E

I think there is maybe another company that makes something similar but can't for the life of me remember or locate it.

Thanks Nick. I'm actually looking only for the bezel. I got the instruments on the monitor...but I want to improve the display with a circular bezel to simulate the gauges.

I have no experience with them, just happened to run as cross their website.

Good luck.

I used thin balsa wood (like for model airplanes) for the panel front and drilled the round holes using a standard 2.5" bit for drilling a doorknob hole in a door to come up with the front panel here.

Thanks Everybody, a lot of good info!

I like the idea of the vynil with the felt finish. I'm thinking to redo all my front panel with black vynil and attach a monitor/s behind where gauges are suppose to be present. Then finish the whole thing with a big black felt. That should look pretty good!
