Few shots looking for a place to break through from today (before my sim crashed again, fortunately this time not with a hot mic  )

Thank you for the kind compliments. My specs are quite antiquated an really have no business in the FSX world, but I have tweaked settings till I've gone insane to make it quite adequate and nice looking IMHO.

Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit SP2

CPU
Intel Core 2 Quad Q8300 @ 2.50GHz

RAM
8.00GB Dual-Channel DDR2 @ 400MHz

Graphics
1024MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 550 Ti

I generally run 15-25FPS but relatively smooth. I'm not a FPS junkie so I don't monitor it regularly. Clouds and weather generator are REX Essentials plus Overdrive.

Just wonder if you have any ideas why your sim crashes/hangs? In my own case the numbers of sims "hangs" went up once REX was installed. It seems to happen when a weather update is done.

I honestly haven't been able to pinpoint it. Knowing my system and how I operate it on the fringes of it's ability, it's probably just OOM. I have tried to reproduce crashes and hangs but to no avail. They do happen on PE from time to time, but again I suspect with so much scenery, REX, and adding a plethora of AI from PE in, it probably just taxes my system too much. It is irritating, but fortunately it only happens from time to time. Keith was oh so kind enough to capture the comms when it happened to me once and rendered me with a stuck mic here http://assets.pilotedge.net/recordings/ ... k_mic1.mp3
