Looks promising. I know Keith is down on Control Loading, but at that price you start competing with PFC equipment. One thing that isn't immediately clear to me is whether they have any force on the roll axis.

*EDIT: I just got a response on reddit: the yoke does have loading on the roll axis provided by a stepper motor.

Thanks for posting this Reece -- I'd probably have missed it otherwise. I'm officially a backer now.

Glad I got somebody :). The rate that the project is getting funded doesn't look good, though. Unless they manage to get the word out better they aren't going to get enough.

I kicked in some bucks too. Very interested in seeing this thing go into production.

Yep, you're right, I am down on control loading :) I don't believe it's a problem that needs solving. I also believe that, like motion, unless it's solved perfectly, it causes more harm than good. Hats off to them for trying, though!

Interesting. But what is their definition of affordable? I didn't see a projected sales price per unit.

Looks like it will be in the $600-ish range, based on the $550 base price for early investors. This is comparable to non-control-loaded yokes from PFC, et.al.

Projected retail is going to be in the $800 range according to the makers. There's only 28 hours left to get in on the ground floor. You can still get one with a pledge of $600 CAD (about $560 US) if you hurry. They only need $4,311 to get this thing funded. That's 7 more yokes ordered and some change. Pass the word!
