Hi All,
I just installed pilotedge and I’m running MSFSX. I am having problems with the push to talk. With the simulator running (not as administrator) and pilot edge (for Flight Simulator X) running, I am able to communicate (transmit and receive) only if the Squawkbox window is open and selected (as a separate and active window) while the flight simulator is running in the background (not in full screen). If I select the flight simulator (as active window) then I can’t transmit; I will only be able to receive.

An additional note: FSUIPC was installed previously to link Foreflight (via iPad). The issue above occurs regardless if I am running Foreflight or not.

I found the answer to my own post. I really thought I was not running FSX as an administrator, but it turns out that I was. For anyone that needs this: Rick click on the desktop iCon, select properties, click on the "Compatability" tab, uncheck "Run this program as an administrator", click on "Apply".

This solved the problem.
