KBUR KSFO ifr questions....

i flew today KBUR KSFo, VNY1.Vny1 dep.

all went weel till Ave then i chose BSR vor HADLY TWO arrival.....then i got kinda lost....

1) from bsr i did not see minimum enroute alltitude..

2) from HADLY followign BOLD lines , got me to SaU vor, then as ti seemed normal and logical to me regarding the arrival i think this arrival is planned to RW 19 landings, via COMMO or Berks. but in the ils chart for ils RW 19l y dont see any bold line or anything suggesting what to do once passes SAu, i only can think of vectors, radial 072 from SAU is not flyable i Think.

it ocurred to me maybe flying to concord CCR then parallel to intersect ils to rw19l

but i really dont see how this approach its started....from where....

thanks

Luis

plan for the bsr2 arrival unless sfo is landing 19l or 19r. expect vectors, as it says on the arrival.

not sure why there are no mea's, you are right about that.

i want to be more specific, if im flying that star,HEDLy it takes me to SAU, i see no following point of the start that connects with the ils for tha1 9rw, imagine i loose comm, and im not flying jet, so basr is not available.... and rw 19 its in use

You could maybe go to BERKS (the IF ILS 19L) in case of lost comms... but you're right there's really no IAF that would allow for full procedure approach.

Does bring up a good question... if you're IMC and lose comms how do you do it? You would land at SFO since it's the clearance limit I guess. It would be a tight turn from BERKS inbound but it is 17.4 dme from the antenna and most jets can easily compute a turn for that to final.

Thanks ryan at least im not that bad noticing that....im not ifr yet, just was watching workshops, and this approach did not have that BOLD line (rad) to depict wich way to fly it does not hignlight any of the possible routes after SAU wich is the las point of the star.
