Wrong Frequency

Hello, i have been trying to do my I-02 Rating at KSNA (John Wayne Airport), but when i dial in the frequencies, i keep getting Towers from far away..
Can anyone help??

You're probably hearing the controller working multiple positions. It would take 400+ people to work the airspace that we cover, which isn't financially viable (unless you're ok with us raising the subscription rate to $8000/month per user

), so we have a small number of controllers working many, many positions. Dial the frequency, call the controller, they will respond as "John Wayne Tower."
If you listen to the radio for a while, you'll hear the controller typically identify themselves as many different positions.
This does happen in real life, btw, but on a much smaller scale. Typically, one controller might work clearance, ground and tower at a single field. Or, an approach controller might work tower and approach. Or, an approach controller might work several approach sectors. This happens every day all across the country. We're just doing it across a larger number of positions.
