DP=Departure Procedure
Could this be referring to the LAXX6 Departure Procedure?
http://skyvector.com/files/tpp/1403/pdf/00237GABRE.PDF
Can you give us some more information?

I don't see where the GABRE7 refers to the LAXX6.
I can only assume this post is referring to a TEC Route between LAX and CNO/ONT/RAL/RIV/SBD.

LAXX DP is an Obstacle Departure Procedure, you will find these in the Takeoff Minimums section under departure procedures for the relevant airport.
You can look it up at Airnav.com search KLAX, go to the bottom of the page look for " Special Take-Off Minimums/Departure Procedures ".
And the only dumb question is the one that is not asked.

Negative, "LAXX DP" is not a reference to the ODP.
It's a reference to the current version of the LAXX SID, which is currently LAXX6.

"LAXX DP SLI V8 PDZ" is the TEC route.
"LAXX DP" means "The current version of the LAXX DP" (which is a named SID).
If you look at the TEC route for Turboprops, you see that it refers to the "SLI DP" which means "the current version of the SLI SID".
The SIDs are numbered independently of the TEC route codes, that's why the TEC routes don't refer to the actual version number of the SID.
Hopefully this clears it up.

Ooops !, sorry my bad, sorry for that.
My thought was that it was a TEC route with the departure procedure attached as the LAX SIDs have numbers associated with them, but yes, a TEC route has to accommodate for the
most recent LAXX SID update.
