Recently, I listened to another AoA interview when I realized the guest was someone I follow on YouTube. I found it interesting and wondered if Chris would ever do something on PE... Happy to know someone heard my thoughts. Lol.

Yes that was a good interview and I am glad to see there is more things coming down the pike for PilotEdge.

I just can not believe there has not been a lot more traction from the flight schools or even the airlines.

I thought information on the regional airlines was interesting, on how high the washout rate is for pilots just my the increase in workloads with adding radio.

As being a business traveler I can say the airlines has a lot of the flights on regional jets. I would say Cincinnati has become a large regional airport, and would have to believe over 50% flights are serviced by regional airlines. I know United/American/US Airways is all regional.

Keep it up as I am fully enjoying the challenge.

When the next iteration of the Pilotworkshops IFR Bootcamp comes out, it'll be launching at 6 different training facilities. 3 of them are eastern, 2 central, 1 pacific. They will likely be starting the sim sessions at 9am local time. To accommodate that, we'll need to provide service earlier in the morning, at least privately. If those sessions are happening anything close to a daily basis, the it will make sense to make those the permanent operating hours. Time will tell.

When there is something more solid, I'll discuss it internally with the ops team and controllers, then it'll be announced publicly.

Rick, I didn't mean to imply that the radio workload was a cause of washouts for regional training. However, the combination of radio work, SIDs/STARs, flying a jet, dealing with an FMS, flying as a crew, etc....all those things add up to a steep learning curve for people transitioning from flying bug smashers or towing banners. The airlines are interested in improving the training that takes place ahead of hiring, or very shortly after hiring to reduce the learning curve, and hence the washout rate.
