Gyro adjustment

Congrats on your upgrade Keith!
Upgrades can be a bitch kitty…fix one thing and break another.
After an initial bobble or two and finally loading up version 1.02 for P3dv2, believe, everything seems copacetic… And that means...Yep I have flunked my I-10 test for the umpteenth time again.. this time as with a lot of other times I busted my heading.... I think we've all heard that the mark of insanity, is repeatedly doing the same thing and expecting different results.
... Well not entirely true due to intermittent failures...the bane of any trouble shooter...sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't… I am beginning to believe though, that I'm borderline insane…
As I am sure you probably know, I've had my RealAir Lancair legacy for quite some time because I love the damn thing… And interestingly enough found out after I purchased it, and joined PE, that you had a real one!
I've come to see a pattern in my failures of the various rating tests, and that is very frequently due to busting a heading to which I've been assigned.
So what is the deal?.. can't I just just swap NAV for HDG, turn the heading bug and expect to go in that direction??
The answer should be sure, with the VERY RECENTLY GLEANED PROVISO, IF you make sure to readjust your gyros every 15 minutes… WHILE wings level.
So I'm asking you ...
How often do you re-adjust your gyros in your real Lancair?
And while others read this how often do Y'ALL re-adjust your gyros in your aircraft? My Legacy, just adjusted from 205 to 305 (with the "d" key), 13.9 miles out of KSMX ENROUTE TO Morro Bay for to the procedure turn in the I-10 test… 100°!...is that common?
Regards to all.

… Constant Gyro readjustment (CGA)… A freaking revelation to me! Another flaw in my very imperfect flight training
