Chicago Center Outage Update

For those of you who have been following the Chicago Center outage, it appears they'll be getting things back to normal next week. It has been very crazy out here. Approach controls are working low altitude center airspace and funneling aircraft into the Chicago area. The lack of automation that the center provides has made getting an IFR clearance quite challenging, too.

"FAA test flight pilots based in Oklahoma City, OK flew an aircraft through the Chicago En Route Center’s airspace today to help air traffic controllers test more than 100 radio frequencies they use to communicate with pilots." I believe this is the same method Keith used to test our frequencies here
